Dr. Klaus-Jürgen Preuß is an expert in concept and strategy development. He can look back on more than 50 years of practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry as well as many years of experience in the medical device industry and private health insurance.
He has worked in management positions for Bayer, Ciba-Geigy, Nattermann, Rhone-Poulenc-Rorer, Resound USA, Austria and the DKV in Cologne. He has held international positions in the USA, Italy and Austria, gaining a wide range of experience and broad and deep industry expertise.
The core team of the EPC includes physicians, economists, mathematicians and social researchers. Depending on the project focus, the team is joined by external partners. These are specialists and experienced industry experts with profound practical and in-depth knowledge.

Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Kersting MBA
Associate Professor of Hospital Management at the Technical University of Berlin, former Managing Director and Medical Director of the Berlin DRK Hospital, with more than 20 years of experience in the field of German hospital management, familiar with DRG system and market access and pricing strategies for medical devices in Germany and relevant applications.
Prof. Dr. Holger Thiemann, MBA
35 years of expertise in the healthcare industry as Cofounder / CEO in start-ups, in management positions in various hospital groups, most recently in RHÖN Klinikum AG as CEO of Uniklinikum Gießen-Marburg GmbH and as Group Head of Medicine. Since 2018 also Professor of Medical Management with a focus on digital transformation in healthcare.
Dr. med. Martin Zentgraf
Over 40 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Managing Director of Desitin Arzneimittel GmbH, management positions at Byk Gulden, Glaxo, Pfrimmer Viggo, Rehau. Chairman of the Board of the German Pharmaceutical Industry Association (BPI) until 2020. Self-employed consultant with experience in market access, sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.
