Alt- hough in its largest market segment, Cannabis prescription drugs, less than two years old, the market for medicinal Cannabis already reached secured sales of approx. 75 million euros in its first full year 2018, because it is reimbursed by the SHI. Including the private health insurance expenses for medical Cannabis and the hospital sector, probably even around 90 million euros. And the discernible dynamic over the months of 2018 promises further increases in future years. In fact, there are several estimates and forecasts concerning the market for medical Cannabis in Germany. They come less from medical professionals than from the economic environment of the companies, investors and experts interested in investments and returns on the cultivation and trade of medical Cannabis.
