Scoring relations for the Phase III assessment and outcome The scores range from the negative range to well into the positive range. The maximum score is 152 points and the minimum achievable score is - 17 points. The actual evaluation and classification of the Phase III candidates is done in 40 - point incre- ments. We have limited ourselves to 4 outcome categories in this assessment for reasons of practicality. The two middle categories are the categories that require management attention, because there are opportunities for optimization here. The lowest category with the fewest points requires courage to make the appropriate decisi- on.
