In Cannabis-focused pharmacies, non-NRF formulations are also increasingly used. Prescriptions with Dronabinol drops and Cannabis flowers for inhalation or tea preparations are at the top of the list. On the other hand, formulations with Dronabinol as capsules are rarely used. Likewise, the ethanolic Dronabinol solution and the oily Cannabis oleoresin solution belong rather to the rare formulations. ▪ Since this has so far been a predominantly direct business and, for the most part, no sales teams have yet been set up by the suppliers, the pharmacists have mostly been unable to report any visits to the pharmacy. ▪ In general, pharmacists today prefer written information such as publications or study results. ▪ Nevertheless, the visit by a sales representative is appreciated, especially if he or she is well and fully informed. ▪ For the most part, pharmacists do not feel well informed by the importers/suppliers. This concerns in particular the availability of the products and also the specifications for the individual products (flowers). ▪ The provision of a suitable DC kit for the individual products/substances is mentioned as particularly desirable. ▪ The provision of terpene profiles by the suppliers would also be a real benefit to pharma- cists. ▪ Delivery in better packaging, i.e. consumer-friendly packaging, would also be advanta- geous. The range of easy-to-use dosage aids is also high on the pharmacists' wish list. ▪ ▪ In particular, distribution by wholesalers - instead of the current predominance of direct orders - would be an advantage for a new supplier. ▪ If the majority of orders are direct orders, an online portal that shows the supply capa- bility of the various suppliers would be of great advantage to the pharmacies. ▪ A training kit for the proper handling of the new products would also be advantageous. ▪ In addition, it is a secure supply, an accommodating returns policy and the granting of discounts when ordering larger quantities of Cannabis products that pharmacists appreci- ate. ▪ Pharmacists expect a doubling or tripling of the current market level (Cannabis-focused pharmacies). ▪ The traditional office-pharmacists, on the other hand, expect stagnation at a somewhat higher level in the coming years.
